You will receive a monthly housing allowance in the small to medium size placements and this is set up for you before arrival. Meaning you do not need to do any house hunting at all and it is all taken care of. In bigger cities such as Bangkok, the housing is not included and you will have to house hunt during your first couple of weeks with assistance of a local coordinator from your school.

Small to medium size town placements offer a salaries starting at 31,000 THB per month plus a housing allowance (no rent to pay!) You can expect to earn upwards of 35,000 THB per month in bigger cities but the cost of living is of course higher and accommodation cost is not included.
